FNAR 331: Advanced Digital Photography teaches technical ability and conceptual intent by building on the technical skills of FNAR 205, Digital Photography. This course emphasizes conceptual development and creation of a cohesive body of photographic work.

FNAR 376: Medieval Art (AICE) Survey of painting, sculpture and architecture of the Middle Ages from the Carolingian through the Gothic periods. This course emphasizes the relationship of medieval art to religious, philosophical, and social developments in Western Europe.

FNAR 395 Medieval Art and Photography Study Abroad in France: is an optional 1 credit lab taken over spring break that allows students enrolled in FNAR 331 or 376 (or who have previously taken those courses) to study firsthand the art and architecture of medieval France and create photography in the country credited for the medium's invention.

Additional Locations: Mont Saint Michel and Bayeux, France

Student with a Valid Passport:
Students who have a current passport will need to upload an image of their passport by December 1, 2024 to their enrollment forms.

Student without a Valid Passport
Apply for or renew your passport immediately. After November 1, students must pay to expedite the application process. Do not delay beginning this process.

Application & Renewal Website:
The routine processing time is currently up to 8 weeks and expedited services is up to 3 weeks. These processing times are subject to change and can lengthen significantly. We highly recommend applying for or renewing your passport as soon as possible. Most countries require at least 6 months remaining time on your passport expiration from your intended date of departure. Example: If your passport expires August 1, 2025, you would need to renew your passport to travel in spring 2025.
