Cultural Communication Competence: Interacting in a Global Environment in Luxembourg COURSE INFORMATION The 1,000+-year-old Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has a rich history and culture. As a founding member of the European Union, it is the seat of many European institutions (including the European Court of Justice and parts of the European Commission). Today, world banking and finance comprise much of the nation's economy, while nature tours comprise a significant portion of the tourist trade. Along with these, its small size and central Northern European location make Luxembourg an exciting destination to study a variety of aspects of communication and to explore differences between the U.S. and Northern European film and sustainability. Note: Students must take both courses. COMM majors may use these courses to satisfy major requirements.
