Complete all Application Forms In this course, based on the writings of D' Alembert, Euler, Fourier, Lagrange, and Laplace, we will explore the mathematical routes that led to the invention of variational calculus, differential equations, and approximation theory. The course will begin at CNU, continue in Paris, and end in Great Britain because it was there that the mathematics created on the continent during the French Revolution crossed the channel and found new uses.
