The U.S. and Europe in the 20th Century in Austria and Germany The U.S. and Europe in the 20th Century in Austria and Germany HIST 276 This course represents an opportunity for CNU students to study in Europe during the summer to explore the American relationship to three important European cities: Vienna, Munich, and Berlin. We will use history as our laboratory to examine the volatile political transformations of the 20th century, from empires to world wars to the Cold War to the present, and the contests between monarchy, democracy, fascism, and communism.
